@diegoch64 Unfortunately, not possible at the moment. There is an issue on GitHub tracking this issue.
Mods have two options: silencing and suspending.
Silencing: Removes posts from timelines of users who don't follow them.
Suspending: Not allowing user to do anything on the instance.
Got a ton of reports of improper NSFW tagging from users on the pawoo.net instance. They have been silenced on mastodon.network, meaning their roots will not show up to users who do not follow them.
If, at sometime in the future, it can be proven that improvements to their moderation have been made, I may reconsider the silence.
Built a script to figure out what network (ASN) each Mastodon instance on the global list uses. This correlates pretty well to provider. Also went ahead and ran the script on the current Masto-verse as of a few minutes ago, so y'all have a reasonably up to date version of the data to play with.

I see the Japanese have really taken a liking to Mastodon.
@ink_slinger Welcome back 😁
This article points to some of the real risks of federated social media. You need to trust your admin and be aware that, if they decide to stop hosting a node, you lose your account and all your posts.
I still think it's better than the alternative. Decentralization has always been the strength of the open web. And, if anything, this speaks to the need for having lots of small or medium-sized instances, rather than a few huge ones.
@GinnyMcQueen how are you tooting with no internet?
@terrajobst Try using search instead of remote follow. Known issue, and I'm working on fixing that.
@ink_slinger @DatTux I do review reports as often as possible, and I take action if there is spamming, untagged pornography, or harassment. Have not banned entire instances yet.
I totally understand where you're coming from with your country's laws...I'll keep my eyes open for posts from pawoo.
@DatTux @ink_slinger Please use the report tool so I can review the content you're talking about.
@Fritillaria Hmm. I just scrolled through your timeline and can see all of them. I have a hunch that it's a cross-origin issue and that they don't display when embedded in other sites. I'll look into this tomorrow when I get a chance!
I love hearing Steve Wozniak talk about the good ol' days at Apple and his passion for good design and engineering. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJif4i9NRdI
New to Mastodon? Trying to figure it out? See the User Guide:

@terribleplan @volkan68 I did update the instance since then. Probably a regression introduced there.
